Do you ship kittens, or is pickup required?
Pickup is required. We're located in Texas, and families come to our home to meet their kitten and complete the adoption in person.

Most families tell us grooming is easier than they expected because we prepare them properly and match them to the right coat type for their lifestyle.
Do Persian cats shed?
Yes, all cats shed to some degree. Persians have long, thick coats, so you'll notice hair—especially during seasonal shedding periods (spring and fall).
How to manage it:
- Regular brushing reduces loose hair around your home
- A good vacuum helps (we'll recommend one)
- Balanced diet supports healthy coat and reduces excessive shedding
The good news: Our Classic Doll Face Persians shed less than many long-haired breeds because their coats are healthier and better structured.
Are Persians good with children?
Yes—especially ours.
Our kittens are raised with our children from birth, so they're accustomed to:
- Being held and handled gently
- Louder voices and sudden movements
- Active play and household energy
That said, temperament varies. Some kittens are more playful and tolerant of high energy. Others are calmer and prefer quieter interaction.
This is why temperament matching matters. Iryna will match your family with a kitten whose personality fits your household dynamic—including the ages and activity levels of your kids.
We also provide guidance on:
- Teaching children how to interact with kittens appropriately
- Setting boundaries so the kitten has safe spaces
- Recognizing signs of overstimulation
What do Persians eat?
We raise our kittens on high-quality, human-grade food from day one.
At pickup, we'll provide:
- The specific brand and type we're currently feeding
- A supply to get you started
- Feeding schedule and portion guidelines
- Recommendations for transitioning to other foods (if desired)
We'll also advise on:
- What foods to avoid
- How to read cat food labels
- When and how to transition from kitten to adult food
Proper nutrition is critical for coat health, energy levels, and long-term wellness—so we make sure you're set up correctly from the start.
Do Persians have a lot of health problems?
Some do. Ours are bred to minimize those risks.
The problem with many modern Persians:
Extreme flat faces (peke-face) bred for show rings often come with:
- Breathing difficulties
- Chronic tear staining and eye infections
- Dental issues due to jaw structure
Our Classic Doll Face Persians:
We breed traditional structure with slightly longer noses, which means:
- Better breathing and airflow
- Fewer tear duct problems
- Healthier jaw alignment
- Lower risk of breed-specific issues
Plus, we health test: Every breeding cat is DNA screened for PKD (Polycystic Kidney Disease) and other genetic conditions. We provide documentation.
No breeder can guarantee a kitten will never get sick—they're living creatures. But we've done everything possible to reduce hereditary risks and breed for health, not just appearance.
About Pricing & Payment
How much do your kittens cost?
Price varies based on color, eye color, and specific characteristics.
What's included: Everything listed above (vaccinations, spay/neuter, health certificate, registration, starter kit, preparation guidance, and ongoing support). Total value: over $7,800.
Do you offer payment plans?
We require a deposit to reserve your matched kitten (amount varies, typically $500-$1,000).
The remaining balance is due at pickup.
We do not offer extended payment plans because our kittens go home fully vetted, vaccinated, and spayed/neutered—which means we've already invested significantly before pickup.
If cost is a concern, we're happy to discuss timing so you can save up before committing to a match.
What's your deposit and refund policy?
Deposit: Once you accept a kitten match, a deposit is required to reserve that kitten. The amount varies depending on the kitten.
Refund policy:
- Deposits are non-refundable if you change your mind after accepting a match
- Deposits are refundable or transferable if we cannot fulfill the match due to health issues or other circumstances on our end
Why non-refundable? Once we match you with a kitten, we turn away other interested families. The deposit ensures commitment on both sides.
We'll walk you through all terms clearly before you commit.
About Our Program
Why don't you offer breeding rights?
We rarely sell breeding rights for a few important reasons:
- Protecting our lines — We've spent years carefully selecting and health-testing our breeding cats. We're protective of those genetics.
- Ethical breeding requires expertise — Responsible breeding isn't just about having two cats. It requires knowledge of genetics, health testing, behavior, proper socialization, and ongoing care.
- Our focus is companion cats — We breed for families, not for other breeders.
In rare cases, we may consider breeding rights for experienced, ethical breeders who share our values. But this is the exception, not the rule.
If you're interested in breeding rights, let us know upfront so we can have an honest conversation about whether it's possible.
